wah wah, is one of the coolest effects ever produced! I have modified it to make it even better to allow true bypass which really does make a MAJOR difference when the wah is disengaged, your signal no longer runs thru the board / electronics which robs YOUR tone and YOUR sound!
Now when it IS engaged, this is the best part, what I can do, in addition to true bypass, is add board mounted trimmers that will allow the Q, volume, midrange, bass & gain to be adjustable, set the tone and voice where YOU like it, much more "vocabulary" and expressiveness a much better "wah sound" not harsh and a very desirable modification. Nice & Sweet !
I also ALL capacitors to new and original specs, hi gain transistors have been swapped out and replaced with a matched set of low gain BC109B transistors, very close to the values you find in vintage wahs.
The input buffer circuit has been removed as well. You will have yourself one beefy, kickass wah, a keeper for sure!
The wahs I see are used but usually in great condition, with usually just very minor scuffs & scratches and especially on the bottom cover plate as usual . I detail, adjust and re-lube all wahs and it will arrive in the best possible condition, you will like this one!

The Vox V847 is one of the best sounding wahs out of the box, also the most handsome wah around!

As for when it IS engaged and this is where it gets even better.... I replace key resistors with board mounted trim pots. Now YOU can adjust the Q ( voice), volume, midrange, bass and gain to achieve the tones you've been looking for in a wah!

There is more ... I can add a battery kill switch, perfect for board mounted wahs, no need to unplug just flick the switch, for those of you that use a power supply, I can install a filtered/regulated DC jack. All necessary components are neatly mounted on the board. I can also install an LED (blue).
